Chow Chow is a Southern staple, a true Southern relish. This mild chow chow is made with fresh green tomatoes, cabbage, peppers, onions, apple cider vinegar (my secret ‘apple’ ingredient), and spices. This relish is good enough to be a salsa! Our family loves it on bratwursts, in bean soup (with cornbread–can you taste it??), as a topping for grilled fish, and especially pulled pork sandwiches.
